Ripamonti’s legature has been planned to exalt the qualities of the reed and the good quality of its mouthpiece.
It is an elastic cone that winds around the reed completely keeping it pressed on the mouthpiece’s plane uniformly, so that all its fibres can vibrate very well and give an excellent sound.
You can apply it on and take it off easily by pressing it with the two thumbs.
This patent is used for mouthpieces with simple reed clarinets saxophones.
